Where are you located?
We have a room at Hagen Chiropractic/Chiropractic Group Wellness Center at 8221 NE Hazel Dell Ave., Ste 104, Vancouver, WA 98665.
Do you do out-call appointments to my home?
Yes, out-call appointments are available throughout Clark County, WA. We will travel to your home, work place or hospital room.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, local personal checks and all major credit cards (VISA, Master Card, AMEX and Discover).
Do I need to do anything before my massage?
A warm shower right before might help lossen tight muscles. If you have any inflamed areas, icing for 20 minutes might be helpful as well. For most clients please just come as you are. If you have any specific concerns, please feel free to contact us.
What are the benefits of massage?

Will my massage hurt?
There are some areas that may feel tender when worked on. If at any time you feel pain, please let your massage therapist know so that they may adjust to a better pressure and/or move on to a different area. At Whole Life Massage we are dedicated to assisting our clients to reduce discomfort and tension, while relaxing the body. Please don't hesitate to express any concerns or comments.
What may I feel after my massage?
Some clients feel relaxed and ready for a nap, while others feel energized. Depending on what is worked on and the amount of time and pressure used, some muscles may feel sore or inflamed after the massage. Cooling down the area with ice for 20 minutes may help.
How often should I get a massage?
The frequency of ones massage schedule varies. How often do you want and/or need a massage? It also depends on affordability. We recommend getting a massage when it best works for you. Stretching and drinking plenty of water will help prolong the benefits of massage as well as improve the way your body moves and feels.
If your are wanting to work out a problem area, more frequent massage may be reccomended while the issue is there. Then after, regular maintenece sessions may keep the body loose.

What are the requirements for practicing massage in Washington State?
All Licensed Massage Practitioners (LMP's) for the state of Washington must have completed a minimum of 500 certified hours from a Washington State approved program from an accredited massage school. They must also pass their National Certification Exam from the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), have current Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification, and have completed a 4 hour HIV/AIDS education course.
